“Maja Bugge´s artistic projects are deeply embedded in social and environment thinking.” Anne Yven Jazznytt Norway May 2022.

Moot is a playful duo project featuring jazz cellist Maja Bugge and drummer/French horn player Ben McCabe.

A concert with MOOT invites you into a meditative and musically adventurous world of Maja Bugges compositions through evocative melodies, beats and soundscaping.

Moot was brilliantly received at their debut gig in London in November 2024 and has since done a range of concerts, music for silent movies and storytelling shows.

In 2027 their first album Suite for Seabirds will be released on Finito Bacalao Records. It is recorded by Frode Berntzen in StudioEner (NO) and funded by the Norwegian Arts Council.
