Maja has been teaching the cello for more then 20 years both in Norway and the UK. Maja is a creator and a composer and is passionate about exploring the creative potential of each individual student. She teaches improvisation and basic composition as well as basic techniques and the traditional cello repertoire. She has a cello ensemble getting all her students together to experience the joy of playing with others.
Whether you’ve always wanted to learn, or need to improve existing skills, Maja offers lessons for all ages and abilities. The first lesson is free and can be taken without obligation.
She teaches at Queen Elizabeth School in Kirkby Lonesdal and in her home in Freehold, Lancaster.
